SALON: First, a few words about the history of the brand. How did it all begin?
- The company is a family enterprise founded by Domenico Potocco. We are already 90 years old. At first it was just a small workshop, now it is one of the world's largest factory for the production of chairs. In recent years, we have also begun to produce tables, storage systems and interior accessories.
S: What is special about POTOCCO chairs?
- The chair is an ergonomic item. It is very important design. First of all, it should be comfortable to sit on so that you do not get tired, and the spine does not deform. Therefore, we have been cooperating with CATAS, a research institute testing furniture for comfort and durability, for years.
POTOCCO furniture is modern, urban. Such famous masters as Marco Piva worked for us,
S: Tell us a little about the new products of the factory.
- We love working with solid wood. A great example is one of our latest models, the Volcano table: the frame is wood, the table top is made of tempered glass. Also worth mentioning are the new Tenso and Eiles collections - variations on the theme of elegance.
