The Triennale of Art and Architecture takes place in the Belgian Bruges, one of the most tourist cities in Europe. Channels, squares and churches filled out large-scale installations - 15 public art objects.

Among the participants are Thomas Sarazeno, Yaroslav Kozakevich, Kunle Adeyemi, Renato Nicolodi, John Powers.

The most notable work was the floating pavilion of the Spanish studio Selgascano, made of transparent pink-orange plastic shell over the steel frame, with a pool in the center, where visitors can plunge into the canal.

The Tunne-like structure resembles a pavilion, which the architects made for London and the Serpentine Gallery project in 2015.

The pink shell heats up and creates a greenhouse effect: people can “feel the sun inside the pavilion if it is a gray day,” say Spanish designers.

Curators Triennale Till-Holger Borhert and Michel Devilde identified the general theme as Liquid city (“Liquid City”) appealing to the blurred boundaries of modern art and to the image of Bruges - the place of picturesque canals and bridges.
