The author of the project is the Madrid bureau Aranguren + Gallegos Arquitectos. Architects Maria José Aranguren and Hocha González Gallegos are not the first to build a building for cultural purposes: they have several international awards for projects of museums in Madrid in their portfolio, they also designed the Spanish Pavilion at the International Architecture Biennale in Venice.

ICA Miami was established in 2014 in the Design District. Its main building, the Moore Building, built in 1921 for furniture manufacturers Moore and Sons is a kind of landmark of the city. Atrium Moore Building is decorated with the creation of Zaha Hadid permanent installation Elastika. A new outpost with an area of 6,000 square meters is supplemented by a sculpture park. It will allow expanding ICA programs and solving the main task - to become an attractive and functional platform for guests and participants of Art Miami and Design Miami fairs.
