The architects of the bureau Atelier ARS designed the campus of the Mexican company Novasem, specializing in the production of corn.

In addition to the functional buildings, here is the memorial to the creator of the company, in which his ashes lie. The entire complex was erected in the state of Jalisco in a desert landscape not far from Guadalajara.

The architectural plan for the location of the buildings is subordinated to the economic needs of the company - they harvest here, sort the grains and cobs, pack, store and prepare them for transportation. There is a silo tower, resembling a lighthouse, the two facades of which are covered with polycarbonate sheets. There is a laboratory building, granaries. Offices and hotel rooms for temporary stay of employees are located at the entrance area.

The architects also used natural stone and steel tinted in red. This shade of red architects peeped on the canvases of the American abstract artist Mark Rothko. The palette of finishes of the entire campus was chosen in such a way as to be combined with the mountains that surround the site from two sides.
