March 31, 2016, British architect Zaha Hadid passed away. Hadid died of a heart attack in a hospital in Miami, where she spent several days undergoing treatment for bronchitis.

One of the most sought-after architects in the world, the first woman winner of the Pritzker Prize, a brilliant designer and lecturer, a man of incredible will and talent, a mathematician and head of a large company (more than 400 employees) Zaha Hadid has always remained the main newsmaker in the industry. Hadid began her career at OMA under the leadership of Rem Koolhaas. In 1979, she founded her own bureau, Zaha Hadid Architects. The bureau has museums, stadiums, hotels - buildings created in a unique and unique manner, turning over the usual sensations of space, dynamic and futuristic.

In 2015, Zaha Hadid added the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) gold medal to her portfolio.
