The first Polychromie Architecturale palette appeared in 1931 and included 43 muted shades, in 1959 it was supplemented with 20 saturated tones. The peculiarity of the system is that all shades blend perfectly with each other, allowing you to create both neutral and colorful solutions. In Secret d'Atelier, 11 shades were chosen: from ruby red and light green to dark gray and siena.

“Color in architecture is a tool as powerful as a plan and cut. Or better: polychromy is itself a component of the plan and cut, ”wrote Le Corbusier.
