LouLou opened in spring in the Paris Museum of Decorative Arts. It has a very privileged location - in the heart of the Louvre, on the lively Rue de Rivoli. The summer terrace with magnificent views is surrounded by the most beautiful monuments. Joseph Diran, architect, designer and decorator, a member of the jury of the PAD exhibition, the author of such gorgeous Parisian institutions as Monsieur Bleu, boutiques Balmain, Chloé and Alexander Wang, created a calm, prosperous, family-run place. The main ground floor of the LouLou is divided into two parts: day and evening. Panoramic Flemish landscapes are on the walls, and in the interior there is a mix of French Art Deco, the 18th century and the 1970s (Tulip chairs, Eero Saarinen).
Restaurant LouLou is located directly in the Louvre. The terrace of the restaurant is surrounded by a magnificent architectural ensemble.According to the author of the project, the concept turned out in the spirit of Carlo Mollino, whose photos exude sensuality, rigor and lightness. The restaurant has a capacity of 130 seats. The terrace is another 200. The LouLou logo was painted by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac himself. The menu - the merit of the creative union of French chef Benoit Dargère and Italian Diego Compagno - distinguish dishes of the French and Italian Riviera.
Opening LouLou coincided with the opening of the exhibition Fashion Forward - Three Centuries of Fashion, which runs until August 14.
