A new beer restaurant "Bohemian" in Odessa reminds of a classic European restaurant with a history

An architect tells about his new project, the Bogemsky beer restaurant in Odessa Anatoly Ekcarev: “We got a very narrow space. We broke all partitions and designed three halls. Since beer is brewed in this restaurant, I wanted to make a European interior with some kind of invented history. The first hall resembles a classic brasserie with a bar counter, made of light metal structures, with cladding panels made of copper sheet and with the heraldic symbol of the restaurant. So designed the French pavilions of the late XIX - early XX century. The second hall, located between the brasserie and the industrial hall, became a “acquired” fragment of the courtyard. There is a wood burning grill, marquises based on the Shambor castle, decorative pergolas and canary cages. The walls are made of light-beige bricks, coffee-colored columns, on the floor are light-gray granite paving stones, white “country” chairs. The third hall is already an “industrial workshop” with vaulted brick ceilings of terracotta color, cast-iron span columns, brick floors and golden-red upholstered chairs. ”
