Smolny Cathedral, designed by Rastrelli, is a magnificent sample of magnificent Elizabethan baroque. Harmonious proportions, abundant stucco decor and radiant turquoise color of the building's facades influenced the interior design of the apartment. The overall style of the postmodern interior is eclectic. The author and the customer found each other: the author, who was formed as an architect in St. Petersburg, but always boldly reinterpreting the classics, and the customer, a girl with a taste that, with all her piety for the classics, would not want to live in an “museum” type interior.
