In the restaurant "Russian Empire" (St. Petersburg, Nevsky Prospect, 17) each object is an object of art. Porcelain vases - copies of samples from the collections of Versailles and the Louvre, the design of the dishes was developed by the studio Versace. The furniture was recreated according to drawings depicting the decoration of the Stroganov Palace - the richest family of Russia and the greatest gourmets. One of the halls of the "Russian Empire" is located on the site of the very kitchen where Alexander Stroganov was preparing the famous olive for Catherine the Great. And under the restaurant are its wine cellars and the Chamber of Secrets. The restaurant’s menu also included a place for the famous “beef stroganoff”, invented by Odessa chefs, but perfected by Count Stroganov.
