Shameless luxury of precious metals for several seasons reigns on the catwalks. In the interior, metallic shades have recently also lost their club-disco status.

At the risk of disappointing those who managed to fall in love with the shades of gold, silver and platinum for their precious appearance, we declare openly: not all is gold that glitters. More precisely, in modern metallized paints there is neither gold, nor silver, nor - all the more - platinum. And not a gram. Instead, they use aluminum or bronze powder - depending on whether it should be shiny, warm or cold.

Each style has its favorite metals. The favorites of classic styles are gold and silver, sometimes softened with a patina, and sometimes frankly shining. Shades of bronze and copper are relevant in a more modern context; now popular things of bright copper shades - lamps, decorative trifles and textiles - look avant-garde and fresh.

If you like the cheerful chic of the 70s, your option is any bright colors with a metallic sheen. Note that in these colors most often things come out that are equally relevant in the avant-garde home interior, and in the space of a restaurant or club, since they inevitably attract all attention to themselves. But the rule is that the bright thing in the interior should be one, with bright metallic and nacreous shades not working: so that the thing doesn’t look like an accidental whim of imperfect taste that came to you, it must be supported by another “metallic note”, maybe another shade.
