The room in which this home theater is located is unique from a functional point of view. During the day, it plays the role of a living room, in the evening - the dance floor, and at night it turns into a bedroom. The spacious hall that easily changes its face, as it was intended, is not overloaded with things, including appliances. "It was decided to place the video and audio equipment outside the living room area, in the adjoining room, which appeared on the site of the loggia," recalls the project author Olga Slezkina. The signal from the living room console goes to a special sensor built into the wall, the so-called eye, which, in turn, sends the command to the next room with the equipment. In the living room, the projector remains, stereo speakers suspended on two metal bars (they also have fixtures and professional equipment for discos), a subwoofer hidden in a wall niche, and a folding screen above the fireplace. “As far as acoustics are concerned, something amazing happened here,” says Olga. “Everyone is well aware that the ideal space for sound is a deaf room“ without windows, without doors ”, upholstered in, say, cloth or some other sound-absorbing material. everything was planned for us exactly the opposite: large window and door openings, smooth mirrored surfaces ... Unless the brick texture and the wooden floor could soften or isolate the sound, and yet thanks to the specialists from A.Sound-Trade, set m and tuned equipment, the sound was good, powerful, without resonance. A good example of a compromise between design and technology. "
