Lebanese Prosper Guy Couple built the Byblos Hotel as a sign of love for Brigitte Bardot. He adored her and dreamed that Brigitte spent as much time as possible in this hotel as at her own summer cottage. Принимая гостей, поклонников, танцуя, болтая, загорая у бассейна. Так продолжалось многие годы.
At some point the hotel changed its owner, Brigitte permanently moved to his villa near Saint-Tropez, but Byblos did not fade, but only gained strength. Strong aroma of living legend season after season rises above Saint-Tropez: Byblos became its main attraction.
Guests of the hotel can hardly be called guests. Like the members of the Byblos team, most of them literally grew up here and have always been associated with the hotel. Therefore, the atmosphere here is unusual: you will be remembered immediately and will be treated with respect, without familiarity, but at the same time as if you are the best friend of the host. Once you have come here, it already highly recommends you. There are no strangers here.
Breakfast is served around the clock. You never know what time it is morning for you: you woke up after a disco at noon or at three o'clock in the afternoon.
The hotel looks like a Provencal village. The houses, as if painted with pastels, stand close to each other, forming a semi-ring around the “courtyard”, where there is a pool, a “deck” and a restaurant. All in full view. All yours. After all, to show yourself and see others is the main task of the high season in Saint-Tropez. The most prestigious rooms, with a view here, "into the courtyard." The rooms are not similar to each other either in layout or design. It also works for the homely atmosphere of “Byblos” (interior decorator — Mirei Shevan). Recently, a redesign of the Rivea restaurant took place, Antonio Citterio was invited for this, and at Byblos new notes immediately appeared, namely, the Bulgari Hotel in Milan, where Citterio designed everything entirely — right up to the door. Chef Vincent Meyar interprets Mediterranean cuisine in his own way. Your personal preferences will be taken into account.
