The owners of the house wanted it to be decorated in the traditional manner, but allowed the architects to interpret this concept as freely as possible.

The architects got the already constructed building, so the most important tasks for them were the redevelopment of the space, as well as the search for a stylistic solution that would satisfy the wishes of the customers. However, the latter did not put forward any special requirements, but only indicated the direction in which it was necessary to move - a classic interior in the widest sense of the word. This - not limited to a clear framework - the definition gave architects the opportunity to make home design more interesting, to work with different styles. Here you can find a clean, almost antique classics, English style, some rooms are made in modern ar-dekoArabic motifs were used to design the pool. Special mention deserves a two-level hall, decorated as an ancient Greek portico. All its architectural elements are made of wood by Russian carvers according to the designs of architects.

Despite the abundance of similar - traditional in spirit - solutions, the house looks modern. This is not an antique palace, full of centuries-old furniture and aristocratic dust, but an easily decorated country villa, in the interior of which the classical style is deeply rethought from the point of view of actual human needs and demands today. The house has everything you need to live: a study, a cinema, a billiard room, a wine cellar, a gym, two kitchens, a huge pool with a hammam, a sauna and a whole SPA-salon, which in functionality is not much inferior to professional salons.

This mansion has its own intriguing surprises. These are usually found just in ancient palaces. For example, a gym with a swimming pool connects an underground gallery. And some rooms are decorated with decorative panels, which in fact turn out to be the doors of the built-in storage systems or hide the path to other rooms.

Alexander Sobolev: “We were asked to build a modern home for a family in which children were about to appear. The owners of the villa focused on traditional design and avoided crazy avant-garde ideas. They wanted to designate belonging to a certain historical epoch and style in the design of each room. ”
