“Era Art” or “Era of Art” - this is how the name of the largest non-state museum of modern art in Russia is translated - Erarta
In the museum's collection, which recently opened in St. Petersburg, there are about 2,000 works by contemporary artists. In addition to painting, graphics, sculpture and installations are represented here. "The concept of this space," says Andrei Galushko, - this is a kind of dialogue between the interior and the museum exposition itself ”. The building is clearly divided into two wings: the museum zone is located on the left, and galleries are designed on the right. In Erarta there are two cafes and a recreation area. In the left wing on the fifth floor there is a conference room for presentations, seminars, lectures and meetings with artists. The third floor is equipped with the latest technology: with the help of active touch screens installed here, visitors can independently choose the name of the author, whom they would like to learn more, see interviews with the artist, and read the thoughts and sayings of various artists and philosophers on the subject of art .
