There is no hint of the traditional design of the restaurant chain with the same name in the interior of the Mais Roma St. Petersburg roestoran: there is a bold combination of colors and rigid geometry of lines.Vyacheslav Chomutov masterfully mixes orange with violet, flavors them with brown and "pours" this explosive "cocktail" into a minimalist vessel of space. Much attention is paid to the ceiling, covered with a painting of corals. A huge biomorphic chandelier at the same time looks like a cocoon of an unknown insect and a nest of a weaver bird, woven not from grass but from coral twigs, according to a strange whim. But such a creative approach to interior design had no effect on the restaurant’s kitchen: pizza and pasta are still being cooked according to traditional recipes.
