Volumetric hieroglyphs, plastic rounded walls and large photographs, on which the locomotive units are large ... The authors of the interior of the Moscow restaurant "Orient Express" (Sadovaya-Samotechnaya str., d. 20, p. 1) did not reproduce the exotic surroundings, usually attached to Chinese cuisine. Their statement about China is expressive and lapidary: it is in the expression of form and color, in spectacular and concise visual techniques. The ceiling hemisphere, the combination of rich red and bright yellow are the most superficial and at the same time the deepest associations with Chinese culture. And black-and-white posters on which trains creeping along the mountain slopes are mounted in ancient lithographs are a funny reminder of the name of the institution.
