From March 22 to March 27, the VIII architectural exhibition "Under the House Roof" was held in the "House on Brest" (2 nd Brestskaya Street, 6). We asked the jury to comment on the best projects of the competition.
Salon selling equipment for outdoor activities (Oscar Madera, Roman Reznikov, Vasily Shchetykina) - 1st place in the nomination "Public Interior".“Personally, I would award this Grand Prix project, because there is a strong architectural idea. The authors used a new technique, and they did not just make the ceiling of an unusual shape, but also came up with inserts with a crawling information line,” says Federica Patti.
Penthouse in Khamovniki (architectural studio For Bohr) - 1-е место in the nomination "Residential interior"."This work clearly shows the general situation in architecture. Now, unrealized projects in their ideas are much more interesting than projects implemented. In other words, architects have already gone far ahead, and builders and customers of interiors are somewhat late," Pavel Romanov.
Office of the architectural bureau "AB" ("AB)" - 1st place in the nomination "Public Interior".“This project is very European in spirit. I can easily imagine such an interior, for example, in Holland. I would like to work in such an office,” says Federica Patti.
House on Klyazminskoe Reservoir (Totan Kuzembaev, Dmitry Kondrashov) - 2nd place in the nomination "Residential interior"."This house is made in the traditions of Russian constructivism. The project is very solid - an equally interesting interior corresponds to the avant-garde facade," says Pavel Romanov.
Apartment in Moscow (Studio Irina Dymovoy) - 2nd place in the decoration "Interior Decorating"."The jury did not award first place for the decor. Among the works in this nomination there were many professional projects, but, unfortunately, there was not one that I would like to point out especially," Pavel Romanov.
Cafe "April" (Andrey Gorozhankin, Yuri Ryntovt) - 2nd place in the nomination "Public Interior".“I talked to the authors of this project, and they asked me if I thought this cafe was“ Soviet. ”No,“ Soviet ”it did not seem to me. In this interior, all the furniture was designed and made of wood. in which a person feels connected with nature ", - notes Federica Patti.
