Cruising Pavilion. How can sex form a city? Applications like Grindr (more than 3.5 million users in 192 countries) that provide access to the geosocial network for gay and bisexual people, allow users to connect to strangers wherever people are. Their spread has generated a new form of sexual practice. Now it is not limited to public places, such as parks or toilets. “New psychosexual geography” is explored at the Biennale by a whole team of authors, including Andres Jacques and Diller Scofidio + Renfro. “Architecture is a sexual practice, and cruising is one of the most important acts of dissidence,” the project organizers say.
Nordic. Sweden, Finland and Norway act under the single brand "The Scandinavian Pavilion". It is filled with giant bubbles with air and water (without which human existence is impossible), which fluctuate at the touch. Australia. Baracco + Wright Architects planted more than 10,000 wild grasses in the Australian Pavilion. Above the field is the Skylight lighting installation for plant life support, consisting of 100 LED lamps. The installation was created by a team from Melbourne and artist Linda Tagg.
